Duitse kinderen hebben een 7,66 meter lang LEGO-schip gebouwd, het langste schip dat ooit gemaakt is van de Deense speelgoedblokjes. Dit hebben de organisatoren laten weten, die hopen op een plek in het Guinness Book of Records.
Aan de recordpoging kwamen maar liefst 513.000 LEGO-steentjes te pas. Meer dan drieduizend kinderen hebben er een week lang aan gewerkt in de havenstad Wilhelmshaven in de aan Nederland grenzende deelstaat Nedersaksen.
