In 2011 werd al bekend dat LEGO met een spookthema op de markt zou komen. Nu in april 2012 druppelen de eerste sets van het spliksplinter nieuwe thema LEGO Monster Fighters bij ons binnen en zijn deze dus direct leverbaar! Vanaf 1 juni moeten vrijwel alle sets beschikbaar zijn, met uitzondering van een exclusieve set, LEGO 10228 Haunted House, die later dit jaar wordt verwacht.
LEGO Monster Fighters bestaat uit een aantal leuke sets in verschillende prijsklassen beginnend bij €3,95. De nieuwe serie bestaat uit sets met spoken, vampieren, geesten, weerwolven en zombies.
