DEN HAAG - Speelgoedfabrikant LEGO Groep sleept concurrent BanBao voor de rechter omdat de zogenoemde mini-figuurtjes van dit bedrijf grote gelijkenis zouden vertonen met de poppetjes van LEGO. Volgens LEGO lijken veel producten van BanBao verdacht veel op die van de Deense blokkenmaker. ,,Sommige producten zijn zelfs identiek'' aldus een woordvoerster van de LEGO Groep.
BanBao zou LEGO ,,systematisch'' nabootsen. ,,De steentjes, de figuurtjes, de dozen, de onderdelen en het kleurgebruik.''
De zaak dient maandag voor de rechtbank in Den Haag.
